Got letter from prof mortimer about my mri scan I had way back.
He says it shows no sighn of odema or lymphedema or venous insufficency but talks about muscle or bone atrophy and still mentions a syndrome.
My hip is getting no better. How big does it have to get before someone does something? I am now suffering with the knock on effects of my hip problem-crunching clicking stiffness, uncomfortable walking and problems with my lower back . My stomach has gone down-thank goodness and so have my ankles but my arms are still puffy and my leg is still the same. My hands are up and down. What can be done for my hip I wonder. How may more years do I need to suffer with this before I bacome totally debilitated. My therapist is great and is going to speak to her colleague about my letter to she if she has any thoughts. I also got in touch with the le at st. georges in london and left a message before I got this letter.
prof . Mortimer said he will be happy to see me in
a few yrs time!
any ideas? Pat? THANKS.

It sounds like you need to see an orthopedic doctor. He/she should be able to really find out what is going on with your hip. Good luck :)

Hi Angel

I'm afraid at this point, I just don't have any further ideas. I think the suggestion to go to an orthopedic doctor is probably your best shot.
